School Lunch Program
Good nutrition at an early age is essential to leading a healthy life. Even though you give your children healthy meals at home, we want to ensure that they receive proper nutrition throughout their day. Our School Lunch Delivery Program aims to do just that. In 2004, Appleton Central Alternative Charter High School tested an experimental nutrition program. The school was established for children who had been kicked out of their normal schools for various reasons: gangs, fighting, drugs, pregnancy, and disobedience. The nutrition meal plan program consisted of removing all junk food and replacing it with a nutritious meal service. The impact was almost instantaneous. Children who had previously been a problem became model students. Attendance went up, and violence and graffiti went down, along with instances of sickness and issues of psychological distress. We want to provide every child with not only a head start in their day, but a head start in life! Our school lunch meal plan delivery program is especially designed for children. We provide the wholesome foods they need to live healthy, productive lives.

Isn't it interesting how the kids you see in the McDonald's commercials, happily eating their cheeseburger and fries are never obese? Why is that? If you were to calculate the nutritional value of one happy meal, those kids are eating more than half of their days calories in one meal. Not to mention enough fat for three meals. Take a trip to your local public pool; more than half of the kids there could stand to lose weight. The scary thing is, many of these kids are the most active they will ever be in their lives. As they get older they will play more video games, talk on the phone, lie around the house and generally stop running around with the reckless abandon that is exhausting to many parents.
